Who knew reading Youkyan's blog would be so informative? His post from the 26th of January has blurred picture of 2 cds. One looks like the Onody cd released recently, and the 2nd is a picture of The Backhorn Best album (!!). The Backhorn - who knew?! Despite the new look on my journal, doesn't feel much like Xmas yet. Weather is finally turning cold and got a bit snow already but it there is no atmosphere to this season yet. Happy December! Another holiday season is upon us. Most stores had their Xmas decorations up so early this year (before Thanksgiving!) that it reminded me of Japan in November (^_^;) where you already see Xmas trees and hear holiday music when you go shopping ( Read more... )

And thank goodness at that. Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto, I mean. I stuck it through and finished the show, but it was wholly unsatisfying. They tried to "explain" everything in the last 1.5 episodes. >_> What came out was muddled and just very anti-climatic.

Just finished watching the first episode of Koutetsu Sangokushi, and I couldn't help thinking that. It was ok, but I have to admit that I got lazy and wasn't paying attention as closely as I needed to, to fully understand their dialogue. I've often heard Sugi described as "weird" by his fellow seiyuu, and to be honest, it's kind of endearing. You know they mean it with all the love and affection possible. :p And truly, as much as I adore this man, there are times when I watch an interview and wonder: O_o
